Thailand has consistently been a popular travel destination, unsurprisingly so! With beautiful beaches, warm weather, shopping and delicious food, it has something to offer everyone! Thailand is a fairly large country, unless you have months to explore the length and breadth of the country, you are going to have to pick and choose.

Thailand can be roughly divided into three zones namely, northern, central and southern Thailand. Northern Thailand is a backpacker haven with plenty of historical sights to see. It is less commercial compared to Bangkok and can offer an insight into rural Thai life. Popular destinations here are Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai. Central Thailand is where the crowds are. The most popular destination here is the Thai capital of Bangkok followed by Pattaya and Ayutthaya. Shopping, food and nightlife, there is plenty on offer. It is safe to say that one must never visit Thailand without stopping by in Bangkok. Southern Thailand mainly comprises of various islands such as Phuket, Krabi, Koh Samui to name a few. Its beautiful beaches make for the perfect getaway. There are watersports, snorkeling and diving for the adventurous. Depending on your interests and time you can create your own Thai itinerary.
